2006-2007 allotment = 0
To date we have served four individuals with our Accessible Housing and Homeownership Program. So far $239 has been invested in direct services for a bathtub bench, wheelchair repair and wheelchair batteries. Also two persons with disabilities have qualified for six homeownership grants totalling $48,998.
2005-2006 REPORT: In 05-06 three individuals were served by our Accessible Housing Program with assistance in home modifications and home ownership. We invested all of our Weakley County United Way allocation in direct services plus another $23,000 in homeowner grants.![]()
Weakley County United Way invested $2,000 in JCIL in 2004/2005
and JCIL invested over $2,500 in Weakley County! PLUS+ Another Weakley County resident will receive $14,999 to assist them in becoming a HOME OWNER.
The JCIL/Weakley County partnership made it possible to purchase items such as homes, home modifications, bathtub benches, shower chairs and hydrotheraphy equipment, hand controls for a car, Christmas gifts, employment and independence for persons with disability.

in Weakley County with 8 services including HOUSING, TRANSPORTATION,
HEALTH CARE, MOBILITY and EMPLOYMENT! In 2001-2002, Weakley United Way invested $0 in JCIL and JCIL invested $546.60 in Weakley County serving 2 families with housing needs. In 2000-2001, Weakley United Way invested $1,000 in JCIL. and JCIL invested $2,903.40 for home modifications in Weakley County, PLUS we brought in $10,000 from Nashville to help a Weakley County Family buy a home. |
