  • Information & Referral

JCIL maintains up-to-date data on local agencies and services, offering accurate and timely information about community resources. We also provide referrals to additional services essential for independent living, such as job placement, home health care, and transportation.

  • Equipment Program

JCIL operates an equipment loan program that provides items such as walkers, wheelchairs, and other assistive devices for short- or long-term use. Permanent donations are also available depending on individual needs. Community equipment donations are essential in helping us support independence for all.

  • Skills Training

Skills training is a key part of the journey toward independence. JCIL helps individuals learn everything from daily living tasks and communication methods to managing personal assistants and using adaptive equipment. A wide range of training is offered and specialized topics are taught by qualified professionals.

  • Transition from Nursing Homes

JCIL assists individuals in transitioning from nursing homes or institutions back into their community. Services include home modifications, peer support, and individualized planning for successful reintegration.

  • Peer Support
