Accessible Dining in Jackson Project
Accessible Dining in Jackson gathers and disseminates “accessibility-friendly” information about restaurants in the Jackson area so that all persons can make informed decisions about where to dine. To do this, Accessible Dining in Jackson provides accessibility training to volunteers who complete an “accessibility-friendly’ survey at a designated restaurant. Based on survey information, restaurants receive and Outstanding or Good rating. A good rating means that the restaurant meets the ADA requirements. An Outstanding rating means the restaurant goes the extra mile and offers additional services.
