 JCIL Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services is offering sign language camp for hearing children in grades K-5. The children will learn signs for colors, animals, letters, numbers, and more, through fun and exciting activities, music, games, and crafts. Lunch will be provided every day. Drop-off your children between 8:30am to 9:00am and then pick them up from 2:00pm to 2:30pm. The cost of this camp is $125 per child with discounts given for additional children in the family.
Camp capacity is 40 campers so it is first come first serve. For more information contact us at 731-664-3986. Deadline to register is Friday, May 25th.
 The Rehabilitation Act, as amended, requires public hearings to be conducted on the proposed state plans for the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS). The 2012 public hearings will be held as follows
 Your attendance would be greatly appreciated at a location most convenient for you. Here, you will have an opportunity to provide valuable feedback and suggestions on the Vocational Rehabilitation Program's annual state plan. The plan will also be available on our website http://tn.gov/humanserv/rehab/st_plan.html in mid-April, along with instructions on how comments can be submitted if you cannot attend one of the meetings.
Your input to the proposed state plans is very important to us. A draft copy of the plans will be available by April 15 in all DRS offices and on the DRS website http://tn.gov/humanserv/rehab/st_plan.html.
